"text": "The Linden Street Newsletter\nIssue 14 · Autumn\nNew bus shelter\n\nAfter two years of petitions, the shelter outside the library is finally being built. Work starts on Monday and should take about three weeks. The stop moves forty metres north while the crew is on site, so allow a little extra time in the mornings.\n\nThe design includes a bench, a timetable screen and a small roof garden that the primary school has offered to plant.\n\nRepair café returns\n\nBring a broken lamp, a jacket with a torn seam or a bicycle that clicks. Volunteers will be in the community hall on the second Sunday of every month from ten until one. Last time we fixed twenty-six items and sent only three to recycling.\n\nStreet party vote\n\nThank you to everyone who voted. The party will be held on the last Saturday of June, with the road closed from noon. We still need people to run the tea stall and to lend folding tables.\n\nLinden Street Residents\nPage 1",
